This bar is a combination of my unscented, uncolored, gentle base and the incredible, unrefined African Black Soap from Ghana, known for being gentle and nourishing on the skin. Barakas Black Soap is incorporated into my cold process formula. Please note this is not a vegan recipe. One of the base oils is tallow which I’ve infused with St John’s Wort for this recipe. Possibly my favorite soap I’ve ever made. No scent, no color, but yes to mountains of shea and cocoa butters.
Ingredients: saponified shea and cocoa butter, oils of coconut, olive and castor, tallow, cocoa pods, plantain husk, St John’s Wort.
